DADDY!!!!!! 

Willow on being brought out from boarding at the vet last Sunday. She just saw us in the front lobby.




I cannot deny that she is MY dog.

Latest Completions 

Ezer Weitzman's "Black Spitfire"



Ezer Weitzman was a fighter pilot, the first commander of the H'eyl Ha Avir (Israeli Air Force), and later Prime Minister of Israel. He flew this plane as a personal transport in the 50s and 60s. Currently on display at the at the Israeli Air Force Museum at Hatzerim AB, just southwest of Beersheba, It still is occasionally flown at airshows.

The kit is the new Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IX, probably the best 1/72 scale Spit IX currently available. The markings are from an old Microscale IAF sheet. Paint is PollyScale Night Black with Tamiya gloss clear brushed by hand



This aircraft is also on display at the IAF Museum in Israel. The kit is the old Kovozavody Prostejov (now known as KoPro / KP) 1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXLF from Czechoslovakia. The kit dates back to the 1970s. The decals are from a Czech decal sheet for Israeli Spitfires from the 80's. Paint is standard British day fighter camouflage using Polly Scale paint.
